OUT OF THE SHADOW

Re-visiting composition can be rewarding. No matter how well I work the scene, changing view point or adjusting the framing of a subject, I will always find a new composition when I re-visit.

I'm mainly looking for the light, trying to compose and frame my composition based on how the light hit my subject or the scene.

I have framed and shot a lot of images of this tree earlier, but never had so nice light as in this image.

To see how the light bring out the 3D form of the tree are so rewarding. Those tiny shadowed areas make the tree really stand out from the background.

This ambient light really bring out the best, and I'm very happy the light gave me this chance for a new image. I had very flat light the whole day, so I didn't expect any good image.
